Well, I'm 27yo, from Limekilns in Fife. My first foray into the wonderful world of dubs was back in 2001, when Alex and myself made the long pilgrimage to Newquay for Run to the Sun. Which was, and probably always will be, one of the best weeks in my life. I hold that single week as the one that changed my life and when I fell in love with all things air cooled, even EVA, Alex split van (even if she was a garish turquoise at the time). Also that year, I headed to Bug Jam15. Alex was touring Europe in the newly painted black EVA so I bummed a lift and met him an his gaffer, Di, there. That secured a place in my heart for all things VW and their owners.

Still the nicest collective bunch of complete nutters I have ever met and I hope to have the pleasure of meeting some more over the coming years. But what about your dub I hear you cry? Well, being a student I had to wait for the right car, with the right price and in November of last year I finally got my hands on her. She's a yellow '72 type3 Fastback, and I loves her. She's by no means a show car but she sure is a head turner. Anyway, aside from Veedubs my other main interest is music. I try to go to as many gigs as possible and also try to keep my tastes varied and interesting.
