Sharon got into VWs by accident. She was looking for her first car when her mum gave her exactly the right about of money to buy Bob Beetle – a yellow and white 1300. After discovering his roof chop, melted pistons, etc she moved to Katie Kar – a gorgeous little blue 1500 semi automatic. Next was Mona, a peach 1300 bought in the Isle of Man and brought back to Scotland where she had her first MOT at the age of 30. Growing up (and not being able to fix cars herself) she moved to water cooled – Eddie, a Polo – and discovered the joy of in car heating! After he became an ‘uneconomical repair’ she bought another car but is purposefully not telling you what it is.

Aside from that, she’s a Brummie and if you need to find her at Volksfling, she’ll be the one running round with no shoes on or dancing in the middle of the dance floor/with the band/in the arena/well just about anywhere really!
